Ambassadors of slow travel

Arcadia, taken slowly

These aren’t packages. They’re invitations to go slower and deeper — to move on foot, by bike or on horseback, to eat what the season and the village give, and to leave the value where it belongs. Slow, fair, real. Sustainability is our architecture.

The Great City, Slow Roads

Megalopolis · gravel & backroads · 4–5 days

From Megalopolis — the ancient “Great City” and the home of our network — we head out on gravel and quiet backroads with our partners, the Megalopolis Gravel Classic. Village to village through the Alpheios valley toward sacred Mount Lykaion: car-free, human-powered, unhurried. Between the rides, the greatest ancient theatre in Greece, an Arcadian breakfast made of what grows here, and slow evenings with a network host. The full route is taking shape — be among the first to ride it.

For food lovers

The Makers’ Table

Taste · zero food miles · 3 days

A journey told through the people behind the food. The wineries of Mantinia, an Arcadian breakfast of hyper-local produce, the cheese artisans and a slow-food table where the menu is measured in kilometres, not seasons. You meet the makers, you eat where it grows, and every euro stays in the village.

How a slow journey works

1

Pick a journey — or ask us for a custom one.

2

Tell us your dates and who’s coming.

3

We connect you with the hosts. You book direct.

No middlemen, no food miles. Every journey keeps its value in the villages that make it.

Tell us your journey

Ready to go slow? Send us your dates and the journey you have in mind — or your own idea — and we’ll weave it together with the network’s hosts.

I’d like to receive occasional news from Arcadia Hospitality Network.
