The place
TeGaia – Ktima Kyriakouli is a family agri-food business on the plateau of ancient Tegea. Brothers Giorgos and Angelos Kyriakoulis founded today’s TeGaia in 2020, carrying on a family story of farming and trading Arcadian produce that goes back generations. The land is still the heart of it: some 50 hectares of orchards and vineyards, led by the Delicious Pilafa Tripolis PDO apple, alongside Starking Delicious, Fuji and other crops.
TeGaia follows its fruit from the tree to the shelf. Packing, cold storage and processing all happen in the family’s own facilities, and the best-known result is TeGaia Apple Chips: made only from PDO Pilafa apples from their own orchards, with a single ingredient, the apple. No added sugar, no flavourings, no preservatives, and dehydrated rather than fried. The orchards lie close to Lake Taka, whose microclimate shapes the crisp flesh and balanced sweetness of the Tegea apple.
